5 Tips to Charging your iPhone as Fast as Possible!

5 Tips to Charging your iPhone as Fast as Possible!

Is there anything worse than when you’re in the middle of an important conversation and your phone’s battery dies? It’s not only inconvenient, but it can be downright embarrassing in some situations. Fortunately, there are many things that you can do to ensure that your battery charges quickly so this problem doesn’t come up very often. In fact, with these five tips on how to charge your iPhone faster, you’ll be able to charge your phone’s battery faster than ever before!

1) Use Your Original Charger

Charge your phone with the original charger that comes with it. While it might be tempting to use a friend’s charger or a different type of adapter, the original charger will charge up faster. The newest models can charge 50% quicker when you use the right adapter. (If you have an older model, this is less important.)

2) Don’t Leave it Plugged In All Day

It’s not a good idea to leave your phone plugged in all day while you’re at work. Even if it’s charging from the computer, it will still suck up more power than a typical phone charger. When you get home, just plug it in for about an hour and you’ll be all set for the rest of the evening.

3) Turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

Turn off Wi-F and Bluetooth when you’re not using them. The combination of these features can drain the battery life faster than other features. Turn off these features when they are not in use and only turn them on when you need them. This will help save time by not having to reconnect to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth each time you want to use it.

4) Disable Push Notifications

Push notifications are one of the most battery-draining features on our phone. Turning off push notifications will not only make your phone charge faster, but it will also prolong the life of your battery. You can always turn them back on when you need them. Disable Background App Refresh:

For many apps, background app refresh is a battery killer. Disabling this feature ensures that your apps won’t be running in the background without you knowing it and taking up precious juice. Adjust Screen Brightness: You want to adjust screen brightness depending on where you are at in order to conserve battery power.

5) Use a Wall Outlet instead of a USB Port

The first and easiest way to charge your phone faster is by using a wall outlet instead of a USB port. A USB port usually delivers 5 volts, but a wall outlet will deliver at least 12 volts which will allow you to recharge your device much more quickly. You can also use an extension cord or even a power strip if there are multiple outlets in the room.
